Overview

The Ruhmannsfelden Volksfest 2025, in its 74th edition, took place in mid-July. Four days of festival tent with opening ceremony, traditional costume evening by the D'Teisnachtaler, parade on Sunday, and Bavarian evening to conclude. Organized as always by the Ruhmannsfelden Traditional Costume and Gymnastics clubs, complemented by classic Volksfest rides on the grounds.

The 74th edition in 2025 followed the established format of the Ruhmannsfelden Volksfest. With classic Bavarian Forest midsummer weather, the festival tent was full on all four evenings, the parade on Sunday attracted clubs from the Regen district and surrounding areas, and the Bavarian evening on Monday concluded the festival with folk music and a beer price reduction.

Preparations for the 75th edition in 2026 were initiated by the Trachtenverein, Turnverein, and the market town of Ruhmannsfelden after the festival ended – an anniversary year with an expanded program is anticipated.
