Overview
The 39th Volksfest an den Grummer Teichen in June 2025 offered, as usual, two days of Bochum district festival atmosphere on the festival meadow at Kaiseraue. Stage music, dance, children's program, ecumenical service, craft market, and the popular model boat demonstrations on the Kaiseraue pond brought families and district residents together. With the 40th anniversary in 2026 in sight, the Bochum-Mitte district representation continued the proven program.
The 39th edition in 2025 of the Volksfest an den Grummer Teichen was a final rehearsal before the 40th anniversary: stage program, dance, crafts, and model boat building once again transformed the festival meadow into a meeting point for families from Grumme, Hofstede, and Bochum city center. Free admission, program coordinated as usual by the Bochum-Mitte district representation. The positive outcome paved the way for the anniversary year 2026.
