Edition 2025 — Volksfest Geisenfeld
The Geisenfeld Volksfest 2025 was celebrated as every year in mid/late September at the town's fairground. With a concert, beer tapping, parade, live music in the festival tent, and a family program, it marked the season finale of the folk festivals in the Pfaffenhofen a.d. Ilm district. Organized by the town of Geisenfeld and supported by the commitment of numerous local associations.
In 2025, the town of Geisenfeld once again invited visitors to the traditional Volksfest at the fairground — the late-summer festival in the Hallertau remains a firm fixture in the event calendar. Concert and parade to kick things off, beer tapping ceremony, live music in the festival tent throughout the weekend, family and children's afternoons on Sunday and Monday, and a closing day on Tuesday.
The festival week marks the end of the Volksfest season in the Pfaffenhofen district — after the Geisenfeld Volksfest, only smaller Kirchweihen (church consecration festivals) and Advent markets follow in late autumn and winter.
