Volksfest Gangkofen — Edition 2025

In 2025, the Förderverein Volksfest Gangkofen once again successfully organized the annual festival week — a parade through the decorated market square, beer tapping in the festival tent, six days of Lower Bavarian folk festival music, a full amusement park, a family program, and fireworks to conclude.

The Volksfest is considered the main social highlight of the summer in the market town of Gangkofen — a tradition that connects the life of the market town with the life of its clubs. Marksmen's clubs, traditional costume groups, music bands, and the volunteer fire department are regularly involved in the parade. The Rottal-Inn region around Gangkofen is characterized by agriculture — the Volksfest is the annual meeting point for all generations.
