Overview

The 73rd edition of the Volks- und Heimatfest Muggensturm took place from July 11th to 14th, 2025. Four days of free local festival on the grounds with barrel tapping by Mayor Johannes Kopp, a parade of clubs, an ecumenical service, performances by local music clubs and cover bands, and the classic ox-mouth salad brunch on Monday.

The 73rd edition of the Volks- und Heimatfest Muggensturm in July 2025, as every year, attracted visitors from the entire Rastatt district. Four days of festival operations on the Muggensturm grounds — from Friday evening until late Monday night — with live bands, DJ sets, club performances, and the characteristic Baden festival culture that has defined the folk festival since the 1950s.

As in 2026, entry was completely free in 2025 — a special feature that consciously distinguishes the Muggensturm folk festival from commercially oriented city festivals in the region.
