Overview

The 2025 Vohwinkeltag continued the decades-old tradition of the district festival. Over 40 exhibitors from retail, clubs, schools, and social organizations presented themselves on the closed Kaiserstraße. Live music, hairdressing demonstrations, and sports demonstrations complemented the community festival. Afterwards, the AGVV district festival on Lienhardplatz took over for the evening continuation.

Already in 2025, Vohwinkeltag confirmed its special position in Wuppertal's festival calendar — as one of the few events where an entire district presents itself collectively. The mix of trade show, club presentation, and stage program, supported by the AKTION V Werbegemeinschaft with its approximately 75 member businesses, has been successful for over 50 years and shows how vibrant the district's club and business life is in Vohwinkel. The direct connection to the Schwebebahn terminus also makes Vohwinkeltag an easily accessible excursion destination for Wuppertal residents from other districts.
