Edition 2025 — Mondscheinmarkt Völklingen

The 18th edition of the Völklinger Mondscheinmarkt attracted thousands of visitors to the city center again on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4 PM to 11 PM. Registration for stallholders opened in April, and around 90 vendors were present on market day.

In 2025, the market around St. Eligius once again relied on the proven mix of regional crafts, specialties from Lorraine, and medieval entertainment. The weather cooperated, and the fire show around 9:30 PM, as every year, drew a dense crowd in front of the church.

4:00 PM — Market opening, town crier opens the event
5:00 PM — Jugglers from Lorraine Médiévale parade through the streets with minstrels and stilt walkers
7:00 PM — Medieval music concerts in the parish garden
9:30 PM — Fire show on the forecourt of St. Eligius Church
11:00 PM — End of the Mondscheinmarkt
