Overview
The 2025 Völklingen City Festival marked the celebrated return of the city festival to the city center after a multi-year hiatus. A festival mile across Adolph-Kolping-Platz, Pfarrgarten, and Forbacher Passage with two stages, live music, and regional culinary delights.
Mayor Stephan Tautz made the city festival a central element of his downtown strategy. "Our city center is the heart of Völklingen — and a heart must beat!" — the 2025 edition was met with a positive reception, securing the repeat event in 2026.
Programme
2025 Program: Two stages with local acts, DJs, children's culture, regional culinary delights. Festival opening on Friday, main program on Saturday, festival wind-down late in the evening.
