About Vinothek on Tour Moselweiß
The Vinothek on Tour – Koblenz-Moselweiß draws on the tradition of the Moselweiß district as a place that has historically been and continues to be involved in viticulture. Moselweiß is located west of Koblenz on the Mosel river and is surrounded by vineyards. The lower Mosel vineyards are among the oldest wine-growing regions in Germany.
Concept
Wine stands will offer wines from vintners from the Koblenz districts of Ehrenbreitstein (Rhine side), Güls, Lay, and Moselweiß – a unique cross-section of the wine culture of a city situated at the intersection of two wine regions (Mosel and Mittelrhein). Local musicians will provide musical accompaniment, and a picnic atmosphere with lounge furniture and blankets invites visitors to linger.
Glas-Koblenz
Instead of plastic cups, wines are served in specially made 'Glas-Koblenz' glasses (5 Euro deposit). The glass can be taken home as a souvenir.
Vinothek on Tour Moselweiß — edition 2026
The Moselweiß stage follows the proven Vinothek-on-Tour concept. The exact music program will be published in spring 2026. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years:
- Opening in the late afternoon.
- Start of wine service and live music in the early evening.
- Atmospheric highlight at dusk.
- Winding down in the later evening.
