First handicraft fair for knitting, crochet, spinning, and felting in Neuss on April 25–26, 2026
The Wolle Festival has been a fixture in the German handicraft scene for years. With stops in several NRW cities, it is one of the most visited wool fairs in Germany. For the first time in Neuss in 2026: On the weekend of April 25/26, 2026, the Stadthalle Neuss will open its doors to around 40 exhibitors from Germany and across Europe. A comprehensive exploration of the world of textile handicrafts.
The focus: Knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, embroidery, weaving, spinning, felting. The offering covers the entire spectrum of textile hobbies. Exhibitors bring yarns (wool, cotton, linen, silk, bamboo, recycled fibers), fabrics from around the world, patterns, tools (needles, circular needles, crochet hooks, looms, spinning wheels), buttons and embellishments, accessories, and books and magazines.
In addition to shopping, visitors can participate in workshops and experience live demonstrations at demonstration booths: spinning on a wheel, hand felting, knitting techniques, brioche patterns, color work, knit-and-crochet combinations. Ideal for beginners and advanced crafters alike – exhibitors are happy to share tips and advise on materials and projects.
The Stadthalle Neuss on Selikumer Straße is Neuss's central event venue. The foyer and halls offer ample space for exhibition stands, workshops, and demonstrations. The Stadthalle is about a 10-minute walk from the main train station – easily accessible.
Anyone who regularly attends handicraft fairs knows the Wolle Festival. It attracts a loyal community of hobby crafters, indie-dyer fans, spinner communities, and knitting bloggers. If you're looking for premium yarns, indie-dyed skeins, and special fiber resistances, this is the place to be. Classic suppliers with traditional assortments are also represented – a good mix for all tastes.
With the Wolle Festival, Neuss joins the ranks of NRW cities that regularly host hobby and creative fairs. In addition to the NeussKreativ fair in September, the Wolle Festival now complements the offerings. For the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, the Stadthalle is the logical center for such events.
With the Stadthalle Neuss, the Wolle Festival opens a new location on the Lower Rhine. A premiere for a handicraft fair that attracts knitting, crochet, and fiber communities from NRW and beyond.
