Overview

The 4th edition of the Viking Triathlon Schleswig took place in June 2025 again in the Louisenbad and the old town of Schleswig. As in previous years, the middle-distance course of swimming in the Schlei, cycling on the B76, and a half-marathon run past Gottorf Castle proved successful.

The 4th edition of the Viking Triathlon Schleswig in the summer of 2025 continued the positive development of the still young event. The format of swimming in the Schlei, cycling on the closed B76, and a half-marathon run through the old town of Schleswig proved successful once again.

Organizer Sub4 Sportevents confirmed the middle distance as the event's hallmark. The success of the 2025 edition paved the way for the DTU allocation as German Championship 2026 — a status upgrade that has definitively established the Viking Triathlon in the German triathlon calendar.
