The 19th edition in 2025 attracted several thousand visitors to Regenstein Castle over Easter. Camp life, mock battles, a craft market, and a double Easter bonfire marked the extended weekend in the Harz mountains.
In 2025, the 19th edition of the Viking Festival once again proved why the event is a staple of the medieval calendar in Saxony-Anhalt: three days of camp life, mock battle performances, a craft market with over thirty stalls, and the traditional Easter bonfire on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The Solheimsippe and allied groups formed the heart of the camp, while families with children found a full day of activities in the hands-on program.

- Opening of the Viking camp, market, and mock battles from 10 AM

- Family Day with Easter Bunny hunt, craft demonstrations, grand battle reenactment

- Last market day, final Viking tournaments, and camp dismantling
