Overview

Already in 2025, the Vier-Tore-Fest transformed Neubrandenburg's city centre into a grand festival mile in late August. At the four historic city gates, on the market square, and the festival meadow, stage concerts, a craft market, a funfair, and the programme of cultural institutions ensured a weekend full of city festival atmosphere with free admission.

The 2025 Vier-Tore-Fest followed the proven concept of Neubrandenburg's major city festival: several stages in the city centre, a craft and artisan market, an amusement park, and a gastronomy mile with regional specialities. The municipal cultural sites once again participated with their own programmes, opening their doors for guided tours and hands-on activities.

As in previous years, admission was free. The festival attracted visitors from all over the Mecklenburg Lake District to the Four Gates City on the Tollensesee.
