In 2025, the Wertach Viehscheid was once again among the highlights of the Allgäu late summer. Hundreds of festively decorated animals returned from several alpine pastures to the valley and were allocated to their owners. Alphorn melodies opened the day, a large market offered crafts and various goods, and in the festival tent, local bands provided a lively atmosphere with music, dance, and regional dishes – an authentic Volksfest in the tradition of the Allgäu cattle drives.
