In the run-up to the "1000 Years Echtz" festival year 2026, a traditional Association and Family Day took place in 2025 on Josef-Ebertz-Platz — the start of the festival calendar planning.
The 2025 edition was held as a regular association event. With the "1000 Years Echtz" festival year approaching in 2026, the IG Echtz also began parallel planning for the grand anniversary Association and Family Day, which will take place on July 19, 2026.
