Edition 2025 — VELOFONDO Lausitzring
The VELOFONDO Bike Festival was held in September 2025 at the DEKRA Lausitzring, offering 24-hour races for solo and team riders, time trials, and amateur distances on the 11.3 km flat course. The event attracted amateur and professional cyclists from Brandenburg, Saxony, and all of East Germany. Organizer: Maximalpuls Sports.
The 2025 edition followed the established concept of VELOFONDO: a weekend on the high-speed circuit of the Lausitzring, catering to demanding endurance racing and amateur formats alike. The overnight stay in the rider paddock also shaped the atmosphere – a typical motorsport setting, unusual for a cycling event.
With the Lausitzring as the venue, VELOFONDO positions itself as one of the most prominent cycling events in the state of Brandenburg and the surrounding Lusatian Lake District.
