Overview

The 2025 edition of VELOBerlin took place in April at Hangar 5 of Tempelhof Airport. Over 200 exhibitors presented their latest models, five test tracks allowed for direct test rides, and three stages hosted talks and workshops. Up to 20,000 visitors attended over the weekend. VIP talks with professional cyclists, political panels on the mobility transition, and a VELOFamily program with BMX demos rounded off the weekend.

The 2025 edition confirmed VELOBerlin as a central event for the German cycling scene. The focus was on sustainable mobility, e-cargo, bikepacking, and Berlin's transport policy. Exhibitors such as Specialized, Pelago, Sportsnut, or Lion Bikes used the industrial architecture of the Tempelhof Hangar for large-scale presentations. The five test tracks on the adjacent Tempelhofer Feld allowed for test rides on asphalt, gravel, and off-road settings.

The event was politically supported by panels with representatives from the Senate and the House of Representatives on Berlin's cycling infrastructure. The VELOFamily program, as usual, attracted many families – with BMX demos, children's music, and a dedicated test setup for children's bikes.
