Overview

The 62nd Veldener Volksfest 2025 once again transformed the Velden festival grounds into a Lower Bavarian "Wiesn". With the beer tapping, parade, Wiesnmadl election – Steffi Irl won in 2025 – traditional costume meeting, and political evening, the festival confirmed its status as one of the most famous Volksfeste in Lower Bavaria.

The Veldener Volksfest 2025 was celebrated over approximately eleven festival days at the end of May/beginning of June on the Velden festival grounds. As every year, the ceremonial beer tapping in the market square, the parade led by the Veldener Blaskapelle, the Wiesnmadl election, and the Dirndl and traditional costume meeting on Corpus Christi were the highlights.

Steffi Irl was elected Wiesnmadl 2025. Festival host Markus Böckl catered in the main tent, and the festival concluded with horse races and the political evening with prominent guests. The festival reaffirmed its reputation as the social highlight in the district of Landshut.
