Overview
The 24th edition of the Usedom Beachcup once again gathered around 1,400 players on Karlshagen beach in early August 2025. Seven cups, more than 3,000 games on up to 95 courts confirmed the event's world record status.
In 2025, the Usedom Beachcup once again attracted volleyball enthusiasts from all over Germany to the Baltic Sea. The 24th edition ran smoothly and solidified the tournament's position as the world's largest beach volleyball event. Registration lists were again fully booked within minutes — an indication of the format's enduring popularity.
In addition to the sporting competition, a diverse supporting program with live music, water sports, and family activities characterized the weekend. The beach resorts of Karlshagen and Zinnowitz in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district reported full occupancy of accommodation facilities.
