Overview

The Unterasbacher Kirchweih 2025 took place from July 24 to 28, following the established four-day program: Schlachtschüssel on Thursday, beer tapping on Friday, festival activities on Saturday, Kirchweih parade on Sunday, and Children's Day on Monday. As every year, the Stammtischgesellschaft Unterasbach organized it together with the cultural office of the city of Oberasbach.

The 2025 edition seamlessly continued Unterasbach's unbroken Kärwa tradition since 1952. On the festival grounds on Frühlingstraße, the festival tent, carousels, and food stalls provided a classic Volksfest atmosphere. With summer weather, the Kirchweih parade on Sunday afternoon drew thousands of spectators from Oberasbach and the region to Unterasbach.

Highlights included, as always, the beer tapping by the First Mayor and the Unterasbach Beer Queen, as well as the Schlachtschüssel on the opening evening. The event concluded on Monday with a visit to the two Unterasbach kindergartens — a tradition where children are treated to carousel rides and small treats by the festival committee.

Free admission. Schlachtschüssel is subject to a charge.
