In 2025, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund also celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Day. Special guided tours, concerts, and workshops in the World Heritage old town invited visitors to discover the special value of the Hanseatic brick city.

During UNESCO World Heritage Day 2025, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund focused on its World Heritage old town. With special guided tours, concerts, workshops, and digital offerings, the city participated in the nationwide day of action. Together with Wismar, Stralsund has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2002 – a heritage that World Heritage Day in the Vorpommern-Rügen district made tangible.
