UNESCO World Heritage Day Augsburg

The 2025 UNESCO World Heritage Day in Augsburg offered numerous hands-on activities and guided walks around the Augsburg Water Management System. The World Heritage Office of the City of Augsburg presented the system of canals, water towers, fountains, and hydropower plants, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2019, through family and children's tours as well as multilingual and accessible formats. Numerous partners from the city, culture, and tourism participated. The World Heritage Day once again confirmed its role as an important contribution to cultural education in Bavarian Swabia.
