The 2025 edition continued the proven festival format: a Sunday festival mile from the Brandenburg Gate towards the Victory Column, hundreds of stands from the ecological spectrum, stage program, and organic gastronomy. Focus topics change annually – in 2025, climate, mobility transition, and energy transition were the focus, with these topics recurring each year with different emphasis.

With the 2025 edition, the UMWELTFESTIVAL confirmed its place as one of Germany's largest environmental events. Its symbolic location at the Brandenburg Gate ensures high public visibility each year; the hands-on concept attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually.
