The Uhlenfest 2025 launched with a completely new concept: no more main stage, but instead, wandering live musicians between the Art Nouveau facades of the Hofweg. The modernized presentation with food trucks, a late-riser flea market, and an Aperol lounge was experienced for the first time by residents and visitors from the entire Hamburg-Nord district.

Review 2025

2025 marked a break: the bergmanngruppe bid farewell to the central stage and introduced a format with multiple mobile musicians. The Hofweg remained closed to traffic, live bands moved through the neighbourhood, the late-riser flea market enlivened Saturdays until 9 PM, and the Aperol Spritz lounge was established as a new standing area. Face painting, balloon art, and a carousel on Papenhuder Straße completed the family offerings.

The Uhlenhorst district in Hamburg-Nord consciously positions the Uhlenfest as a neighbourhood festival that reflects the urban identity of the area – Outer Alster, Art Nouveau, high-quality residential living – rather than copying a classic folk festival (Volksfest).
