Overview

In the summer of 2025, the municipality of Gerswalde and its districts were once again a venue for the Uckermark Music Weeks. Since 1992, the festival has consistently curated early music and crossover programs in the village churches, manor houses, and barns of the Uckermark, bringing international ensembles to one of Germany's most sparsely populated regions.

Music Weeks 2025 in Gerswalde — Review

In 2025, the Uckermark Music Weeks once again brought concerts to the districts of the municipality of Gerswalde. The acoustics of medieval village churches and the rural atmosphere attracted concertgoers from Berlin, Brandenburg, and the region — many combine their concert visit with a weekend trip to the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park.

The concept of traveling venues remains the festival's core identity: music as an occasion to experience a rural area that would otherwise rarely appear on festival schedules.
