In September 2025, the 28th Ückeritz Potato Festival took place on the Old Kurplatz. The village festival all about potatoes offered culinary delights, the traditional potato sack race, music, and a children's program.
In 2025, Ückeritz once again celebrated its traditional Potato Festival on the Old Kurplatz in the town center. Frühschoppen (morning pint), a talk show, and children's entertainment marked the day.
The potato sack race in the afternoon and culinary specialties featuring potatoes made the festival a highlight of the village community in the Baltic Sea resort of Ückeritz.
