TurnUp BRMN

The first edition of TurnUp BRMN on August 2, 2025, marked a turning point for Bremen's festival scene: with around 25,000 visitors, it immediately became clear that Bremen not only deserved its own major hip-hop festival but also supported it.

The lineup brought together some of the most famous names in the German-speaking rap scene: Luciano, Reezy, Symba, LIZ, Omar, Wa22ermann, BooZ, Kid Kapri, and Summer Cem & KC Rebell. Pashanim and Yung Hurn had to cancel at short notice – Gzuz and Maxwell from 187 Strassenbande stepped in as replacements.

Despite unpredictable weather, the atmosphere on the Burgerweide remained exuberant from start to finish. In addition to the main stage, mini-games, sports courts, and a diverse food offering provided variety. The positive response led directly to the announcement that the festival would take place over two days for the first time in 2026.
