Overview

On Thursday, December 11th, and Friday, December 12th, 2025, the Trossingen Christmas Market took place on Schultheiß-Koch-Platz in front of the Town Hall. Clubs, schools, and institutions operated their festively decorated stalls with culinary offerings, decorations, handicrafts, and gift ideas. The German Accordion Museum's stall and the Christmas carousel characterized the market — a charming two-day Advent market in the Schwarzwald-Baar region.

Trossingen Christmas Market 2025

On December 11th and 12th, 2025 — the second Thursday and Friday of the month — Trossingen celebrated its traditional Christmas Market in front of the Town Hall. Club stalls with festively decorated huts, knitted and felt items, Advent wreaths, local baked goods (Hutzelbrot, cookies, stollen), mulled wine, and punch — a classic Advent market mix, driven by the commitment of Trossingen's clubs.

The special stall of the German Accordion Museum, offering gift items and musical souvenirs, the Christmas carousel for children, and the visit from St. Nicholas made the market a family meeting point. Trossingen once again demonstrated how a small city with a clear identity (Accordion City) can set a characteristic event tone even during the Advent season.
