Tractor pulling is a motorsport discipline that originated in the USA in the 1950s and established itself in Europe in the 1970s. In Germany, the Trecker Treck Wendeburg is one of the most traditional events of its kind. The focus is on the competition to pull heavy sledges over a set distance. The further a tractor pulls, the higher the score. The discipline combines engineering skill, driving ability, and pure power.

14 Competition Classes

The Trecker Treck Wendeburg is held in 14 different classes, which vary according to tractor weight, engine power, and degree of modification. From standard tractors to the Pro Stock class with highly modified machines, a wide spectrum is represented. This class structure ensures fair competition conditions and allows both hobby drivers and semi-professional teams to participate.

Training on Saturday

Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 8:00 AM is dedicated to training. Teams test their machines, adjust settings, and prepare for the timed runs on the following day. Training is also open to spectators, offering the opportunity to visit the pits and chat with the drivers.

Timed Runs on Sunday

Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 8:00 AM is the competition day. The scales will open at 11:00 AM, and the timed runs will begin shortly thereafter. Throughout the competition, spectators follow the teams' attempts from the grandstands. The mix of technical fascination, excitement, and spectacle makes the competition day a highlight.

Festival Atmosphere at Auebad

The Meierholz festival grounds at Auebad offer an extensive supporting program in addition to the sporting competitions. Catering stands, snack options, show demonstrations, and a children's program make the Trecker Treck an event for the whole family. Catering is provided by MSC Wendeburg with volunteer efforts.
