Edition 2025 — Travejazz

The 11th edition of the Travejazz Festival took place in September 2025 in Lübeck — four days of jazz, funk, and soul in the historic Schuppen 6, as well as in several churches and open-air locations in the old town. International headliners and national acts shaped the programme, and the Travejazz sponsorship award once again went to a young act from the North German scene.

11th Travejazz Edition

In 2025, the festival once again attracted a broad audience with its proven format of harbour flair, listed concert architecture, and programmatic courage. Schuppen 6 on the Untertrave remained the main venue, complemented by concerts in St. Petri Church, St. Jakobi Church, and by the water.

Format and Focus

As in previous years, the focus was on the musical spectrum between classic jazz and contemporary funk/soul crossover. The combination of international stars, national acts, and regional talents made for a diverse programme.

Programme

The 11th edition in 2025 followed the classic Travejazz format with concerts from Thursday to Sunday at Schuppen 6, in St. Petri Church, St. Jakobi Church, and on the open-air stage. The sponsorship award was presented again.
