Overview
In 2025, Steinbach am Wald also celebrated its Trachtenkirchweih on the second Sunday in July. Zechpaare in Franconian traditional costume, the festival entry, Kirchweih church service, Plantanz, and the festival parade of jubilarians and schoolchildren on festival Monday formed the familiar program of one of the most vibrant Trachtenkirchweihen in the Frankenwald.
The Trachtenkirchweih Steinbach am Wald 2025 once again confirmed the strong tradition of customs in the municipality of Kronach district. The Zechpaare performed the three traditional dances on the Plan around the Kirchweih tree on Sunday, the festival tent operation ran from Friday to festival Monday, and the entire village community, along with numerous guests from the Frankenwald, participated. The Kirchweihgesellschaft Steinbach am Wald thus kept a tradition cherished for generations alive.
