Overview
The themed Sunday 'Tracht und Tanz in Franken' 2025 at the Fränkisches Freilandmuseum Fladungen brought together costume groups and brass bands from the Rhön for a festive day of folk culture. The backdrop of historic farmhouses provided an authentic stage for folk music, dances, and traditional costumes.
In 2025, the themed Sunday 'Tracht und Tanz in Franken' was once again successfully held at the Fränkisches Freilandmuseum Fladungen. Costume groups from the Rhön-Grabfeld district and all of Lower Franconia met to present their traditional costumes, dances, and folk music to a wide audience.
The concept – experiencing folk culture live among the historic farmhouses of the open-air museum – proved successful again and attracted families and folk culture enthusiasts from all over the Rhön and beyond.
