Edition 2025 — Wine and Summer Festival
As the Wine and Summer Festival only takes place every two years, there was no standalone edition in 2025 — the last edition before 2026 was in June 2024. In 2024, over 90 volunteers also organized the entire festival without sponsors. Three days of wine, music, and culinary delights at the historic Heimathaus Tornesch.
The biennial format is a deliberate feature of the Wine and Summer Festival: the two-year break helps maintain the festival's special character and avoids overwhelming the volunteer organizers or the local audience. The 2024 edition followed the established pattern: opening on Friday evening, main festival on Saturday, and winding down on Sunday.
In 2025, the heritage association used the festival-free period for the maintenance of the Heimathaus and for other program offerings (club evenings, smaller events).
