Overview

The Tönninger Weihnachtsereignis opened again in 2025 on all four Advent weekends in the Historic Warehouse. Thousands of visitors came to experience the world's largest Advent calendar and to wander through the two floors of the warehouse in search of Christmas traditions.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the Christmas Event. The programme ran in the Historic Warehouse on all four Advent weekends, featuring craftspeople, traders, and live music. The tombola on the second Sunday of Advent and the visit from St. Nicholas were once again crowd-pullers.

With the 2025 Christmas Event, Tönning once again solidified its reputation as one of Schleswig-Holstein's most original Advent destinations. The combination of the harbour setting, Eiderstedt specialities, and the unique Advent calendar staging made the market a firm fixture in the pre-Christmas period.
