The 2025 edition of the Tollwood Summer Festival took place over 32 days in the southern Olympic Park under the theme 'Courage and Action'. The Music Arena featured around 300 musicians – the spectrum ranged from punk icon Patti Smith and Iggy Pop to BAP and Marc Rebillet.

Booker Mathias Schaettgen particularly praised the sound quality of the Music Arena after the festival. In addition to the concerts, the free cultural programme, the Market of Ideas, and the consistently organic-certified catering once again shaped the event. In 2025, thematic focuses were also placed on the environment, democracy, and human rights.
