Carpenters, wood sculptors, and ladder makers showcased their skills, while Timbersports competitions and the parallel 'handgemacht-Tage' (handmade days) rounded off the spring market weekend.
Wood Market 2025 – Retrospective
In 2025, the Thuringian Wood Market once again transformed Jena's city centre into a vibrant market and craft stage. Around 100 exhibitors, Timbersports demonstrations, and the parallel 'handgemacht-Tage' attracted thousands of visitors to the independent city. Admission was free.
The organizer is JenaKultur, the cultural enterprise of the city of Jena – in cooperation with regional wood industry associations and the Jena arts and crafts scene.
