Overview

In 2025, the Theatron Musik-Sommer again took place in August on the lake stage in the amphitheater at the Olympic Lake in Munich's Olympic Park. With free admission, bands and solo artists from Munich performed daily over several weeks, with a program ranging from jazz, pop, rock, and hip-hop to classical and world music. As usual, the festival took place parallel to the Olympic Park's summer festival.

The Theatron Musik-Sommer was once again among the highlights of Munich's summer cultural season in 2025. Over several weeks in August, the lake stage in the amphitheater at the Olympic Lake transformed into a free open-air stage.

Daily, promising and established Munich bands and solo artists performed, with a diverse program from jazz, pop, rock, and hip-hop to classical and world music. With free admission and in the unique setting by the Olympic Lake, Theatron once again confirmed its reputation as one of the world's longest-running free music festivals.
