For decades, the Festhalle Zweibrücken has been a cultural anchor for the city and the entire West Palatinate region. The annual Theater and Concert Season, organised by the Culture and Tourism Office of the City of Zweibrücken, brings a wide spectrum of performing arts to the stage from October to June. The 2025/2026 season promises another attractive programme with highlights ranging from classical music, jazz, cabaret, and musical theatre. The performances are aimed at a discerning audience from Zweibrücken and the surrounding area, as well as cultural travellers from Saarland, Lorraine, and the Palatinate.

Diverse Genres Under One Roof

The season's programme is divided into several categories: musical theatre, symphony and solo concerts, chamber music evenings, and cabaret. The musical theatre productions feature guest performances from renowned city theatres and opera houses, delighting audiences with stagings of operettas, operas, and musicals. The symphony and solo concerts present established orchestras and internationally active soloists, while chamber music evenings focus on intimate ensembles such as string quartets, trios, and Lieder duos. Highlights of the 2025/2026 Season

The 2025/2026 season offers numerous highlights, several of which are concentrated in the spring of 2026. The New Year begins with the traditional New Year's Concert on January 4, 2026, followed by the Small New Year's Concert with the Trio Étoiles on January 11, 2026. In March, a song recital with works by Franz Schubert featuring Hartzendorf and Kachko is scheduled (March 22, 2026). In April, Roland Helm presents his Leonard Cohen tribute programme (April 25, 2026). Tickets and Travel

Tickets for all events of the Theater and Concert Season are available through the Ticket-Regional advance booking system and at the Festhalle box office. The Festhalle is centrally located in Zweibrücken's city centre and is easily accessible from the main train station as well as via the nearby A8 motorway. Paid parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
