Overview

In 2025, the Laienbühne Schorndorf e.V. also presented its traditional open-air theatre at Burg Neuhaus. As is customary since 1997, the July programme featured a Bavarian folk play or comedy from the repertoire of Georg Maier and his Iberlbühne, performed in authentic Bavarian dialect in the historic castle setting.

Theatre at the Castle 2025

The 2025 season continued the unbroken tradition of open-air theatre at Burg Neuhaus since 1997. The Laienbühne Schorndorf e.V. performed a Bavarian folk play in July within the medieval castle atmosphere, accompanied by the castle inn before the performance and during the breaks. The playful amateur troupe and the hearty dialect comedy once again made the Bavarian Forest summer theatre particularly appealing in 2025.
