Already in 2025, the Räuberland Tourist Association and Markus Engelstaedter utilized Mespelbrunn Castle for open-air concerts. The picturesque backdrop of the Lower Franconian moated castle is continuously developing into one of the most sought-after open-air stages in the Spessart.

Mespelbrunn Castle is an established open-air castle stage in the Spessart. As early as 2025, the backdrop was used for high-caliber concert formats curated by the Räuberland Tourist Association together with the region's tourist information offices.

Markus Engelstaedter, with his Queen tribute show "The Magic of Queen," has been touring through castle parks, festival grounds, and open-air stages in Germany for years; the concert in Mespelbrunn is part of this established tour series, which will stop at the castle backdrop in the Spessart again in 2026.
