Berlin Capital Cowboys live with “Back To The Boots” in Wilhelmshaven
Since the mid-2000s, The BossHoss have shaped the German rock scene with a distinctive mix of country, rock 'n' roll, and pop. What began as a tongue-in-cheek cowboy performance has evolved into one of Germany's most successful rock bands. With hits like “Hey Ya!” (a cowboy version of the OutKast classic), “Don't Gimme That,” “Drink, Drink, Drink,” and “Stallion Battalion,” they have a repertoire that turns live concerts into genuine party nights.
With “Back To The Boots,” The BossHoss released a new album in 2026 and are embarking on a major summer tour. Wilhelmshaven is one of the selected open-air stops. The album harks back to the band's musical roots, combining them with contemporary sounds. The concert in Wilhelmshaven promises a mix of new songs and major classics from two decades of the band's history.
The Festplatz am Sportforum offers the necessary infrastructure for the grand BossHoss show. The band is known for its energetic concerts with a full live band, brass section, multiple frontmen, and a stage show that leaves no one untouched. The open-air format perfectly suits the country-rock sound. It's part of the high-caliber 2026 Open Air series at the Sportforum, which also includes Wincent Weiss, Jan Delay, and Andrea Berg.
The concert on September 10, 2026, is part of the band's “Back To The Boots” Summer Tour. Wilhelmshaven is one of the selected open-air stops in Northern Germany.
BossHoss concerts are known for their exuberant party atmosphere. Cowboy attire is encouraged in the audience — many fans arrive with hats, plaid shirts, and boots.
