Overview

The texttage.nuernberg 2025 took place from July 10th to 13th. The Netherlands was the guest country. With an expanded program, new writing and discussion formats, and renowned authors such as Martina Hefter, Jonas Lüscher, and Helene Hegemann, four days of literature transformed the Katharinenruine into a meeting point for literature enthusiasts.

The 2025 edition of texttage.nuernberg ran from Thursday to Sunday, July 10th to 13th, around the Katharinenruine. The festival presented an expanded program with new writing and discussion formats and an international focus on the Dutch literary scene as the guest country.

Guests included renowned authors such as Martina Hefter, Jonas Lüscher, and Helene Hegemann. From the Netherlands, Simone Atangana Bekono (novel "Salomés Zorn", July 11th, 8 PM) and illustrator Erik Kriek (graphic novel "Die Grube", July 11th, 6:30 PM, with comic workshop) were among the guests. Readings, discussions, workshops, a Saturday evening concert, and the freely accessible Textualia Market characterized the festival.
