Overview

The 2025 Teisendorf Carnival Parade, as always on Carnival Sunday, gathered over 1,000 active participants in walking groups, music bands, and on motorized floats. Organized by Sing-Sang Teisendorf e.V. – one of the largest carnival parades in the Berchtesgadener Land region, with influence reaching into the Salzburg region.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition: over 1,000 participants, a procession through the town center, and carnival festivities in the inns afterward. The Teisendorfer Tagblatt reported a lively parade in wintry but pleasant weather. Such carnival parades are part of the local identity in the Berchtesgadener Land – a custom that is cherished anew each year.

Sing-Sang Teisendorf e.V. collaborates with the "Vereinigte Faschingszüge" association to coordinate the regional parades in Freilassing, Laufen, Saaldorf-Surheim, and Teisendorf in terms of timing and logistics. This allows participants and spectators to experience multiple parades in the region.
