Overview

In 2025, young sailors from Berlin and Northern Germany met again at the end of June on Tegeler See for the Optimist regatta organized by the Tegeler Segel-Club. Opti A and Opti B classes were contested over two days. The clubhouse on Bernsteinweg was the social center of the weekend.

The Tegeler Jüngstenfestival 2025 took place, as usual, on the last weekend of June. Several races in the Opti A and Opti B categories were sailed on Tegeler See, with registration and results recorded via the central German sailing portal manage2sail.com. The Tegeler Segel-Club e.V. drew a positive conclusion from this edition – the format is one of the established pillars of the Berlin youth sailing scene.

As in previous years, the combination of a sporting regatta and social gathering in the clubhouse proved successful. Parents, siblings, and club members followed the races from the shore and on land, and in the evenings, everyone enjoyed meals together in the clubhouse. The award ceremony on Sunday afternoon has been the emotional highlight of the weekend for years.
