Heilbronn's New Open-Air Electronic Music Festival

The TEAL Festival is a new open-air electronic music festival establishing itself in 2026 on the Theresienwiese Heilbronn. On Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM, the Theresienwiese transforms into an open-air electronic dance floor — capacity up to 10,000 visitors. Minimum age 18 years, re-entry after leaving the premises is not permitted. The festival clearly positions itself in the House and Tech segment of electronic dance music, bringing nationally renowned acts to the North Baden city.

The musical direction: House, Melodic House, Tech House — the contemporary club sound that has shaped festivals like Awakenings, Time Warp, or Diynamic Outdoor in recent years.

Festival Setup — Main Stage, VIP, Street Food

The TEAL Festival is conceived as a full-fledged festival experience, not an open-air club: main stage with a large festival setup (LED walls, lighting design, high-quality sound system), VIP Lounge with stage access (€1,000 ticket incl. €1,000 voucher for food/drinks — full refund), open-air on the terrace, plus Street Food vendors. Cashless payment — card payments at all stands.

Theresienwiese Heilbronn — The Festival Location

The Theresienwiese Heilbronn is a central festival ground in the city — the venue for the Heilbronn Volksfest, Horse Market, and other major events. Its location on the Neckar river with good accessibility (10 min. walk from Heilbronn main station, public transport connections) makes it ideal for a festival of this scale. The open space and lack of residential buildings in the immediate vicinity allow for open-air sound until midnight.

Heilbronn — City on the Neckar with a Young Electronic Scene

Heilbronn (city district 08121, around 126,000 inhabitants) is located in northern Baden-Württemberg on the Neckar river, between Stuttgart and Würzburg. The city hosted the Federal Garden Show 2019 (BUGA 2019) and has developed an active young cultural scene in recent years. The TEAL Festival responds to this demand and fills a gap in the Southern German electronic festival calendar between the major Stuttgart events and the open-air festivals in the Rhine-Neckar region.
