Taste of Africa Festival Berlin — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of Taste of Africa continued the three-day rhythm established in previous years. Food stalls from various African culinary regions, DJ sets from the three leading genres (Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro House), and an open space in one of Berlin's trendiest sub-cultural areas formed the familiar setup. As in previous years, the festival gathered a diverse Berlin audience of diaspora members, Berliners, and tourists.

In recent years, the format has positioned itself as a compact, accessible alternative to larger diaspora festivals. Instead of a broadly curated performance stage, it deliberately focuses on a direct mix of culinary offerings and sound – a concept that has found resonance in Berlin's festival landscape and will continue unchanged in 2026.
