Overview

Tanzplattform Deutschland 2024 took place in Berlin and brought together the most important German dance productions of the previous two seasons. International programmers, curators, and journalists traveled to see the selected works and connect with the choreographers.

Berlin 2024

The last edition before Dresden was held in the capital – with venues including Sophiensælen, Radialsystem, and HAU Hebbel am Ufer. The independent jury selected the productions from the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons that were considered particularly outstanding.

Transition to Dresden

With the move to Dresden in 2026, Tanzplattform continues its tradition of presenting German dance creations at a different venue every two years. HELLERAU as the host in 2026 brings the festival to a historically significant site of modern dance history.
