Edition 2025 — Tanz in den Mai

The Tanz in den Mai 2025 in Loitz took place on April 30th at the Hiddenhausener Straße sports field. As every year, residents from the Hanseatic town and surrounding communities gathered for the traditional Walpurgisnacht with a May bonfire, dance music, and catering.

As in previous years, April 30th, 2025, was celebrated in Loitz with the classic Tanz in den Mai. From the early evening, guests gathered at the sports field, local clubs provided catering with sausages and drinks, and as darkness fell, the May bonfire was lit. Live music and an open dance floor completed the Walpurgisnacht – a beloved spring kickoff for the Peene town in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district.
