In 2025, Tangstedt once again invited visitors to its village Christmas market at the fire station on the first Advent weekend. The brass choir, a visit from St. Nicholas, and the mulled wine stand made the market a fixed date in the Advent calendar of Hamburg's commuter belt.
Looking Back at 2025
The 2025 Tangstedt Christmas Market once again attracted visitors from the village, northern Stormarn, and Hamburg's commuter belt. The brass choir performances were part of the regular program, and the visit from St. Nicholas delighted the younger guests. The club stalls — riding club, church community, fire department — presented their work, and culinary offerings ranged from mulled wine to bratwurst, everything that belongs to a North German village Advent market.
