Edition 2025 — Finished

Edition 2025 — Tage Alter Musik

The 40th Tage Alter Musik Regensburg took place in 2025 over the Pentecost weekend and made festival history: it was the first edition to be completely sold out. With the usual format of around 16 concerts in the historic churches and halls of the Old Town, the anniversary confirmed the festival's status as one of the most important for Early Music in Germany and laid the foundation for the expanded edition in 2026.

40th Tage Alter Musik 2025 — Sold-Out Anniversary

The 40th edition over Pentecost 2025 was, according to the organizers, the first in the festival's history to be completely sold out. This success prompted the expansion of the program in 2026 from 16 to 18 concerts and an increase in the ticket contingent by around 1,000 tickets.

Proven Concept

As in previous years, the anniversary festival brought together top international ensembles for the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Baroque in the Romanesque and Gothic sacred buildings of Regensburg's Old Town, complemented by concert introductions, an exhibition, and a symposium.
